LEADERSHIP BEYOND GENDER

The Global Citizen Forum, the Singapore based not for profit arm of the Smart Group led by global thought leader Dr. M hosted an event on “Going Beyond Gender” at the United Nations in September 2018. The event was held in association with Global Citizen Forum affiliates, the Universal Peace Federation and supported by the USA based ITV and the Association of American Physicians of Indian origin (AAPI). In the spirit of going ‘beyond gender’ this event was held in honour of a delegation of 45 women business leaders of FICCI and marked the beginning of a worldwide campaign on Beyond Gender, being orchestrated by Dr. M and the Global Citizen Forum that will culminate in a mega women’s event at the United Nations in 2022.

The event in October 2018 saw participation from leading representatives of all affiliate organisations including Global Citizen Forum Founder, Dr. M, Dr. Taj Hamad (Vice President – Universal Peace Federation), Ms Aparna Reddy (President, FICCI Ladies Organisation), Ms Preeti Malhotra (Founder Director, GCF) and Dr. Sudhir Parikh (Founder of ITV and past President of AAPI). The event also included representatives and ambassadors from the Permanent Mission of Qatar to the UN and was supported by the Permanent mission of Grenada to the UN.
