Global Citizen Forum (GCF) together with Singapore Indian Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) joined hands to commemorate 71 years of Indian Independence in Singapore on August 15, 2017. The "New India" event showcased the cultural, spiritual, intellectual and social prowess of India, reaffirming its status as a global leader that can lead the world to Peace. Celebrities and leaders like Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva, Shiamak Davar, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shri Bibek Debroy (Member, NITI Aayog), other global representatives attended and addressed the week long festivities attended by thousands of Global Indians.
